Life is...

1) Tests - God tests us to show us our limits. To help us realize that we need God to survive.
2) Trusts - What God trusts us with. We are entrusted with everything we have. Gifts, material possessions, family, The Living Word of God!
3) Temporary - That we are only here for a brief part of our existence. We are aliens to this world. Our true home is Heaven, and one day we are going home.

Genesis 2:15-17 (New International Version)

15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

Adam and Eve were tested in the garden. Not because God wanted them to fail but because he wanted them to know that they needed God to survive.
