Numbers 13:30

30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

Numbers 14:30

30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

 

1. Focus on the objective and be faithful
2. See what you have, is God, be confident
3. Don't allow your emotions to control you
4. Obey God, grow in character rather than instant gratification

Caleb and Joshua stayed faithful to God and succeeded, while the others ran and perished.  They leaned on God as their strength.

Hebrews 13:5-6

New International Version (NIV)

5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”[a]

6 So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”[b]

These verses in Hebrews shows us that God will defend us and He will win for us.  We must "Do what is right without tiring of it!"
