The Battle

2 Chronicles 20:15
New International Version(NIV)

¹⁵ He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
 

1) The battle you face is not difficult, the battle only seems difficult because it seems impossible

2) Its a struggle because it seems strange to wait, to pray, to trust in God

3) The victory you need is not accomplished by strength or smarts, it is accomplished because it is of God

All of us face battles throughout our lives.  These three points help us realize that the battle is not ours, but God's.  2 Chronicles 20:15  The People of Jericho must of made fun of Joshua and the people of Israel.  It appeared that the only thing Israel was doing was marching and blowing trumpets.  They(Israel) knew and understood that God had already won the battle for them.
